Annabelle Gets Her Shine On...

Annabelle recently went to the spa in preparation for two vintage trailer rallies.

I still need to buy paint and spruce up the emblems and the trim.

Annabelle Gets Measured for Draperies

Today Annabelle was measured for her draperies. With the Trailerfest 2013 Vintage Trailer Rally in August, Paula Cox will attempt to put a rush on the fabric and get the Roman Shades completed and installed for the vintage trailer rally.

Narrowed down to the two choices
Decided to choose the darker background fabric

The top illustration is the drapery I have chosen for Annabelle. (One closed and closed across the page)

Deadline for the install is August 8th.

I also have made an appointment to have Jesse polish my Airstream and get her ready for the Vintage Rally. Jesse uses the same orbit polisher that is used on Airforce One. I'm looking forward to seeing her completed
Here is some of his work completed on an automobile. He hasn't completed many Airstreams but is looking for more satisfied Airstream customers:

Men Don't Glamp

Last weekend I decided to invite the two men in my life to go camping. Excitedly I prepared a glorious "glamping" weekend complete with gourmet meals, candles, decorative toss pillows, comfy chairs and rope lighting for outside. My excitement soon died when I heard "I just don't understand this kind of camping but if it is your thing, then enjoy it."

The food was consumed with no problem and with thankfulness, but the pillows were an annoyance. The lavender scent in the trailer caused frequent "power naps" and the candles weren't even lit. The decorative toss pillows that had to be moved into the SUV before bed to make room for the sleeping bodies were another misunderstood "glamping" nuisance.

Overall my men had fun at the SF Giants game  and the lunch out to a Cajun restaurant called The Parish Cafe in Healdsburg, CA
